Hadi has spent more than a decade in enterprise IT, rising from hands-on engineering to systems engineering leadership. He has worked across infrastructure, platform, data, and AI engineering, with direct responsibility from architecture through production. That trajectory is the foundation Kosma is built on.

Kosma's engineering practice rests on small teams, automation, and disciplined adaptation. Engineers own their domains end-to-end and stay close to production, while automation acts as the force multiplier that lets a small team deliver at scale. Kosma applies that practice across infrastructure, platform, data, and AI for federal missions, with the discipline to absorb new challenges and new technologies on the merits.

Service

Hadi enlisted in the US Navy at 17 and served aboard USS Ponce (LPD-15) as an Electronics Technician, deploying in support of Marine Corps combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan (GWOT). He operated and maintained the ship's degaussing system, electrical plant control console, and generator plant, where a failure affects crew survivability and operational readiness on a forward-deployed warship rather than an availability metric in a dashboard. The Navy set the operating standard Kosma carries forward today, with small accountable teams running mission-critical systems under documented processes, clear individual ownership, and no margin for excuses.

Quality over quantity is a structural argument, not an inspirational one. A small number of people carefully selected, well trained, and well led will consistently outperform a larger group where ownership is diffuse and accountability is managed rather than held. That is the argument behind how Kosma is built and how every engagement is staffed.

Extreme Ownership

Extreme ownership means the engineer who scoped the work owns the delivery, the problems, and the outcomes, without condition. For a prime contractor or teaming partner, this means no scope disputes surfaced at invoice time, no problems escalated without a proposed solution, and no hidden issues that arrive after the deadline. Kosma does not deflect accountability sideways or upward.

Honor, Courage, Commitment

Honor means truthful reporting even when the news is bad. Courage means raising problems early, before they become crises, regardless of how the information lands. Commitment means Kosma does not quit on a mission, a contract, or a customer, and the operator is always the last person off the job.

Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP)

VIP Start is a federal procurement certification program for veteran-owned small businesses entering the government market, taught by subject matter experts from government and industry. The curriculum covers strategic planning, contracting requirements, accounting, proposals, cybersecurity, financing, and business development.

Project Opportunity

Project Opportunity is a 10-week entrepreneurship training program for veterans founded in Maryland by retired Army Master Sergeant Joe Giordano. The curriculum covers business planning, marketing analysis, cash flow, financing, legal and tax structure, sales, and procurement opportunities at the state and federal level.
